Most people would love to eat more salmon on a regular basis. Who does not enjoy a hearty bagel with a dollop of cream cheese, topped off with some delicious Alaskan lox? Or what about the endless variety of sushi roles that include the beautiful orange fish? Even simply enjoying a nice cut of salmon fillet, baked in the oven with a little bit of juice from a lemon and butter can be an out-of-this-world experience if you take the time to enjoy each distinct and warming flavor.

But despite salmon's amazing taste, and despite all of the health benefits that you constantly hear doctors and nutritionists discuss on end on television news programs and in magazine articles (think omega-3 fatty acids), it unfortunately is not the cheapest option for a family dinner. In fact, usually a grain and vegetable-based meal is your best bet for simultaneous budget and healthy friendliness, but if you really want your animal proteins, more traditional meats like chicken and beef will often have salmon beat in terms of price.

But they do not have salmon beat in terms of health and taste, and therefore it is worthwhile to try to find innovative, cheaper ways of incorporating this and other fishes into your meal plan and your budget. One great way to do this is to try to eat canned salmon omega 3 as often as possible. Canned salmon omega 3 is similar to canned tuna in that it is a cheap and convenient way to eat a fish that everyone loves. Just go to your grocery store, look in the canned foods isle, and choose a brand that advertizes that the canned salmon omega 3 is packed in water, not oil or marinade. Oil just adds fat and calories, and can often detract from the already uniquely flavorful experience that you will have by eating salmon. You can mix the canned salmon omega 3 into a salad, or add a bit of cream or yogurt and make it into a salmon salad. You can put it on a hearty piece of bread, and melt one thin sliced of cheese over top and have yourself a salmon melt! Regardless of how you use it, canned salmon omega 3 is great for your health and your wallet!
