Authentic Italian Recipes and Quality Ingredients Allow You to Prepare Appetizing Dishes

Comments (0)

Authentic Italian recipes are essentials of classic Italian cooking. They come from home and cooking is directly based on tradition, climate, seasonality and some products of the areas of origin. A traditional recipe has always a strong link with the territory in which it was created and needs fresh ingredients and proper methods of preparation, handed down from father to son for generations.

The great cookbooks of the times past, although the work of writers or at least people who could write well, express a professional culture but also contain traces of popular culture, that is the mother who teaches her daughter and maybe, sometimes, the father who teaches his son for generations. These are essentials of classic Italian cooking.

Cuisine, in Italy, wasn't an invention of the upper classes, but was developed by the common people, inured to fight against adversity and armed with experience, ability, and imagination. For example, there are many references to popular and home cooking in the famous cookbook of Bartholomew Scappi (1500 - 1577), perhaps the most important Renaissance text of Italian cuisine. That great chef was perfectly aware of the popular origin of many things he wrote about. In fact, he does not just describe these recipes, but often also refers to the real authors: people of Ravenna, Chioggia fishermen and so on... But you can say the same of the celebrate gastronome Pellegrino Artusi (1820 - 1911), whose recipes came in large part from the popular tradition. Therefore, it was the people to provide these expert chefs and food experts with the knowledge base, to which they added their talent and imagination.

Nowadays, in Italy, home-cooking is still a widespread practice among the people and typical foods are sometimes prepared and consumed exclusively at their place of origin. Genuine Italian food, because of its popular origins, can be home-made rather easily, but this is the point: they need to be prepared with quality ingredients, which often cannot be found in grocery stores or even in common restaurants.

Authentic Italian recipes and quality ingredients allow you to prepare rich food in a short time. After that, you'll be able to treat yourself and your family to appetizing dishes.

Affordable Seafood Solutions: Recipes for Success

Comments (0)

When it comes to planning for a delicious seafood dinner, shelves in a grocery store might not be the first spot shoppers think of for retrieving the most crucial ingredients. But affordable and eco-conscious seafood these days is about a whole lot more than what can be found in the freezer case. After all, some of the best sources for salmon and other types of seafood are the waters off of Alaska, where stringent fishing rules and a general source of order means the kind of fish that's delicious to eat and also conscientious of the environment.

While it might not seem like the best idea to take on a canned salmon recipe for an important family dinner, the fact is that it's easy to work with canned fish, and that many delicious dishes can be whipped up at a moment's notice or with forethought that involve canned, rather than frozen, varieties. Best of all, anyone who lives far from water and who is a bit squeamish about the idea of something that's been frozen and shipped will be relieved to switch things up with something that's been expertly canned on-site in Alaska. Here's a great canned salmon recipe for those who enjoy pasta and want a whole new taste for dinner.

To begin a delicious Mediterranean Salmon Recipe, it's important to get a high quality form of the canned fish. In terms of affordability and taste/quality, product from Alaska seems to be far superior to other options. It's also a lot easier for a beginner chef to successfully get the flaky bits of salmon necessary to mix up with the pasta, and will require a lot less seasoning. Throw the salmon into a small bowl and mix it up with a fork, then toss in salt and pepper to taste and drizzle a couple of tablespoons of high-quality olive oil over two cans' worth of meat. Separately, prepare a pasta of one's choosing, chop some onions and garlic, and saut

Cheap Salmon Recipes For All of the Family

Comments (0)

Most people would love to eat more salmon on a regular basis. Who does not enjoy a hearty bagel with a dollop of cream cheese, topped off with some delicious Alaskan lox? Or what about the endless variety of sushi roles that include the beautiful orange fish? Even simply enjoying a nice cut of salmon fillet, baked in the oven with a little bit of juice from a lemon and butter can be an out-of-this-world experience if you take the time to enjoy each distinct and warming flavor.

But despite salmon's amazing taste, and despite all of the health benefits that you constantly hear doctors and nutritionists discuss on end on television news programs and in magazine articles (think omega-3 fatty acids), it unfortunately is not the cheapest option for a family dinner. In fact, usually a grain and vegetable-based meal is your best bet for simultaneous budget and healthy friendliness, but if you really want your animal proteins, more traditional meats like chicken and beef will often have salmon beat in terms of price.

But they do not have salmon beat in terms of health and taste, and therefore it is worthwhile to try to find innovative, cheaper ways of incorporating this and other fishes into your meal plan and your budget. One great way to do this is to try to eat canned salmon omega 3 as often as possible. Canned salmon omega 3 is similar to canned tuna in that it is a cheap and convenient way to eat a fish that everyone loves. Just go to your grocery store, look in the canned foods isle, and choose a brand that advertizes that the canned salmon omega 3 is packed in water, not oil or marinade. Oil just adds fat and calories, and can often detract from the already uniquely flavorful experience that you will have by eating salmon. You can mix the canned salmon omega 3 into a salad, or add a bit of cream or yogurt and make it into a salmon salad. You can put it on a hearty piece of bread, and melt one thin sliced of cheese over top and have yourself a salmon melt! Regardless of how you use it, canned salmon omega 3 is great for your health and your wallet!
